During February & March it tends to be a bit chilly during mornings & nights in Napa Valley, therefore wear layered clothing.  During the day, it can warm up but does not get too hot.  In April & May, weather in Napa Valley starts heating up, even nights and mornings get warmer therefore you can wear pretty light clothing during these two month.  In a wet year, you might get rained on in February (sometimes even early March). February is Napa’s wettest month. Chances of rain taper off as the year goes on, but March is still on the higher side of precipitation – on average. Dont let that worry you, though: most tasting experiences are indoors. Wineries also adjust their walking vineyard tours according to weather.  Bring an umbrella & rain jacket/rain boots and you will be just fine even during the rainy season in Napa Valley.
