Peter Mondavi died in 2016 at the age of 101. He leaves behind a rich, long-lasting legacy in the wine industry. Often dubbed a “maverick” he was one of the early pioneers who helped raise Napa Valley’s profile and, ultimately, bring the region global recognition.

Footage was shot in February 2013 at the Culinary Institute of Greystone during the annual Napa Valley Vintners Hall of Fame induction ceremony.
