As our long summer in the high desert winds down, a trip to Bodega Bay, California made sense. A 30′ Alumascape trailer in tow behind the Ram 3500 truck, we traversed the Sierra Range and the Napa/Sonoma wine country en route to the coast west of Petaluma.
On the rugged northern coastline, Bodega Bay welcomes travelers. This community, popularized in the 1963 Alfred Hitchcock thriller “The Birds”, has a long history in the fishing industry and played a notable role in California’s history.
Join us as we explore the Bodega Bay marina, eat great meals and hike Bodega Head and the rugged Sonoma State Park beaches.
